operations & maintenance Since the completion of construction in October 2007, AREL is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the southeast, as well as the west and southwest legs of the Anthony Henday Drive Ring Road, including portions of Highways 2 and 16. The quality of this highway is guaranteed for 30 years and will be monitored by the Province. Maintenance is performed by Transportation Systems Management Inc. (TSM).
